About Us
The Frederick County Senior Recreation Council (SRC) is a group of seniors who get together to promote wellness offering activities for mind and body to Frederick County (MD) residents who are 50 years and older. The SRC is a non-profit volunteer organization operating under the Frederick County Division of Parks and Recreation.
The SRC was formed in 1994 by a few Frederick County Seniors, and after almost 30 years we have over 400 members.
We offer a variety of regular programs and activities. Some are conducted year round and others are seasonal. Anyone who lives in Frederick County (or nearby) age 50 or older may join by registering.
